The Academy of Safety Education and Training presents the following course options:

 

for people who are just starting and are keen to learn and apply occupational health and safety, working toward  formal qualifications.

for people who have safety and health responsibilities and functions at work and seek formal qualifications.

for people who have already completed the Certificate IV in OHS or have experience at applying safety and health at a management level.

for people who have attained a Diploma in OHS and the relevant work experience, Edith Cowan University provides a smooth transition to post graduate qualifications.

 


  Certificate III Occupational Health and Safety

This is an entry level to professional qualifications in occupational health and safety for any one who is interested in progressing their career opportunities. If you do not have any experience with applying health and safety in a workplace, this course would be suitable for you.

 Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety

Once you have attained the Level III OHS or equivalent experience,  you can progress to a Level IV in Occupational Health and Safety.  The course aims to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to undertake work safety and health functions at a supervisor level within an organisation. It is also recommended if you apply occupational health and safety at work and seek award qualifications.

  Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety

Once you have attained the Level IV or equivalent experience,  you can progress to a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.  This course aims to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to undertake work safety and health functions at a management level within an organisation.

BSB51307:  Diploma of OHS

 

8 Units required (7 units listed below + 1 unit from a Certificate level IV in Business Services Training Package or another endorsed Training package)
